Beatles Best Selection Rar Download
Rarities is a British compilation album featuring a selection of songs by The Beatles. The album was originally released as part of The Beatles Collection, a box set featuring all other Beatles records, but was later released individually. The album has not been released on CD, but all of the tracks are available on the double.
Hello. Here's a note on forum policy regarding bootlegs.
If there are websites that are good resources for bootlegs, I don't really mind people linking to them. It's fine to link to Blogger sites (or others) which discuss rare and unreleased recordings, and which themselves provide download links.
That also includes things like Soundcloud or YouTube uploads that might not be entirely legit. Let's be grown up and not pretend these things are out there.
I think it's OK for someone to say 'Here's a link to an interesting alternative mix I've found!', but quite different for someone to share masses of stuff they've uploaded and to turn the forum into a trading post (which might get me suspended or shut down).
If someone is asking for bootlegs to be uploaded to filesharing services (Mega, Rapidshare etc) so forum members can access them, I'd have to draw the line. This is not the place for trading illegal stuff, whether requesting or providing. I don't want to see direct download links to Mega, Rapidshare, Demonoid, Pirate Bay and so on. Let other sites link to those.
(I'm guilty of the latter, of course, because I shared the Rock Band stem files before they were taken down. Never mind.)
Obviously nothing commercially-available should be shared. Respect copyright holders.

I found this site yesterday, and it has a phenomenal collection of bootleg recordings. The daily updates are staggering and include plenty of Paul's latest 'Out There' shows.
The download link is at the bottom of each post in the comment section.

Just to follow this up:
If you do a search you can locate all of the Purple Chick deluxe titles, as well as a treasure trove of other sets.
To download, you get redirected to one of those 'megaupload'-type places. You can download for free, but you're limited to one download a day and it's fairly slow. An average album takes me about 20 minutes.
I've paid the subscription before which allows you to download multiple files a LOT faster, and I've never had an issue with the billing or anything.
BUT... If you want to try for free, go to the link and the download button is on the bottom. Make sure you uncheck the option to use their downloader. You'll then get a 45-second countdown before you can click the link to start the download.
Once it's done, you'll need to unpack the .rar files. If you don't already have an unpacking program, just go find 'Winrar'. It's free. Just install it. It's safe.
Now that you're ready to unpack, just open the .rar file and drag the folder inside to your desktop. It'll unpack in a few seconds.
Please note - Some of the files are FLAC files and some are MP3. If you don't know, FLAC is a lossless file. It's basically the complete uncompressed digital information. Most general-purpose burning programs can handle it, but your iPod won't. MP3 files are (as everyone knows) compressed and of a lesser sound quality. But your iPod will accept them lovingly.
Have I missed anything...?

Thanks SH, am always on the look out for good boots, not just the beatles.
If the files are FLAC and you want them on your ipod you can also download free software FLAC to MP3 converters, tons are online so a google search will bring them up (best to make sure they are legit before downloading - always be careful what and where you are downloading and be careful what links you click on/what additional boxes are checked).

What are some of the more noteworthy downloads?
It depends... If you want Beatles, Purple Chick has a few different comprehensive collections that cover everything. The have definitive versions of the earliest material, the pre-EMI recordings, massive complete and chronological versions of all their albums and a whole series of live collections.
Or you can just punch in your favourite album and see the results.
But there is such a huge collection of artists on there, I'd suggest just start poking around and see what they have. I'm sort of curious to hear how the 'new' Black Sabbath sounds live...

And if you don't know where to begin, use this as a starting point: http://www.webgrafikk.com/beat.....index.html
Do you know if A/B Road works on the site (great find by the way), as there are lots of comments about getting stuck at 22 and being unable to move past because there are problems with it? If I were recommending a good start point, I'd probably recommend Artifacts I, II & III. A very good set.

Artifacts is a great jumping-off point. I don't know if it's there, but I still have a soft spot for the 3-disc 'Vinyl To The Core' collection.
'A/B Road' is so massive, that if I were to download it, I'd probably just get the torrent in one big-ass piece. I'm just not sure if I'm up to the commitment. It's something like 68 CDs total. I remember being overwhelmed by the '30 Days' set, which at 17 CDs was too much.

You can get A/B Road at Everything Beatles in the February and March sections, that's where I got the Twickenham rehearsals (already had the Apple sessions), its a fantastic resource for Beatles Bootlegs and added to regularly is Everything Beatles.
One hell of a set and one I doubt I will ever get thru so why the hell is it on my computer taking up goodness knows how many gig? Thank God Apple will never put out an 80-odd box of this for £5 billion pounds. I also have no idea why I have 8,000 live versions of From Me To You except its the damn Beatles.
If anyone knows where I can get studio boots of Dylan from i'd be eternally delighted to be informed (can only find live 80's).
Artifacts is a great 3 box 15 disc collection but a lot of the recordings have been upgraded since it was put out in '94 and '95(?) - unless it was upgraded itself which is what's happened to a number of boots over the last few years.

I don't know if this is the proper place for this thread, but I will go with it anyways. I was really wondering if yall know of a good web-site in which you can actually listen/download bootlegs, and just session tapes. There are so many that will tell you what is on them, but don't allow you to actually listen, and that actually makes it worse. I know you can go to YouTube, but searching for the songs individually is a joke, not to mention the random assortments of names that they may have. I hope yall can help me out.
Thanks

You can start here: http://musictravellerstwo.blogspot.ca/
The download link for any album is in the comment section. I'll leave it to you to figure everything else out, but if an idiot like me can do it then so can you.
The only thing to point out about this site is that the majority of links are to the Megaupload cloud storage site which was closed down by the American Department of Justice on 19 January 2012 for copyright infringement. Any link that begins http://www.megaupload no longer works...

The Purple Chick albums are currently being upped over here for those, if any, who are looking for them.

I'm so glad I found this, thanks a lot! I tried it yesterday but accidentally left the download manager ticked so I ended up having to get a virus off my computer! It's alright now that I tried again without the download manager ticked and I got the Purple Chick 'Strong Before Our Birth' Quarrymen bootleg which I had been trying to find for a long time without success. It took about 40 mins or more to download but it was definitely worth it.

Someone has started up a blog called Blanco Records where you can get concept bootlegs created by the blogger - a cool original idea if you ask me. So far it's got material, from amongst others, Paul, Led Zeppelin and Dylan up - The Beatles are also there but the link is wrong and takes you to a dead end.
Its basically another place to get outttakes, demo's etc but done in a different way.
